Citroën’s Downsizers’ Show Garden has won a Gold Medal and Best In Show for ‘Planting’ at Bord Bia Bloom 2025 in the Phoenix Park, Dublin. This marks the 3rd consecutive year in which Citroën has achieved a gold medal for their show garden at the festival.
The award-winning garden highlights how our needs evolve in tune with our lifestyles and life stages. At the heart of the garden sits the Citroën Ami, the urban mobility solution starting from €9,990. Like the cars we drive, we may need smaller, more accessible gardens that are easier to manage.
The 2025 Citroën Downsizers’ Show Garden is designed by Louise Checa, a French landscape architect and a chartered member of the Irish Landscape Institute. She holds a Masters from the INSA-ENSNP in Blois, France and has worked around the world, designing public spaces and private gardens.
Speaking on the announcement, Trevor Hunt, Citroën Marketing Manager commented: “We are thrilled to have achieved yet another gold standard garden at Bord Bia Bloom 2025. We would like to thank Louise for her hard work in bringing the Citroën Downsizers’ Show Garden to life, and also the judges and Bord Bia. This year, Citroën is in the second year of a fruitful and expanded Motoring Partnership with Bord Bia Bloom, where we are also exhibiting our latest range of vehicles across the weekend – I encourage everyone to visit the Phoenix Park to soak up the atmosphere and experience the garden and the new Citroën range first hand!”
This year’s garden, designed by Louise and sponsored by Citroën, the award-winning Citroën Downsizers’ Show Garden will be available to view across the June bank holiday weekend. The full Citroën range is also on display at Bord Bia Bloom Festival.
