As part of a 241 registration plate campaign, Ora, one of the newest Chinese makes on the market, have announced a substantial price cut on their Funky Cat EV.
It’s now available from €29,995, a reduction of €3,500 over the previous price and financing under a PCP or HP deal is available from €199 per month.
Launched earlier this year, the Funky Cat features unusual retro inspired styling and a very different interior. It comes with satellite navigation, Apple Carplay, Android Auto and wireless phone charging all as standard.
Is this among the first volleys in an EV price war? Tesla led the charge with their price cuts earlier this year and it will be interesting to see if any more manufacturers follow in the lead up to the 2024 sales push.
