For all cars registered from January 2023, Mazda will double their warranty to a full six years or 150,000 km and all models are covered.

This is in addition to Mazda’s Fair Service offer, which remains in place. Fair Service is for Mazdas over three years of age and it gives discounts and special offers on parts. If a service is carried out at a Mazda dealer, there’s also a discount on the price and any parts fitted.

There’s a further incentive to stick with Mazda as every time the car is serviced at a dealer, the Mazda Assistance programme, which offers a breakdown service, is extended for a further year, up to a vehicle age of 10 years.

“We aim not just to please the customer when they come and buy a vehicle, as this is not really a challenge for Mazda. The main aim is to make the customer happy when they come back to service their car,” said John Perry, Managing Director of Mazda Ireland. “Our focus on this field is a long-term strategic thing. In 2006, when we implemented the Digital Service Book, we were the first in the car industry to do so. A huge improvement for the customers who buy our used cars – as the history of the car is completely clear, if the previous owner visited authorized dealerships,” John added.
